ARRIVING BY CAR
Travelling by car couldn’t be easier. The car park entrance for Cromer Hall Concerts is accessed from the lay-by, just off Holt Road, near the North Norfolk District Council building.
If you’re using a satellite navigation system, the following address should be used:
Sufficient FREE car parking for visitors is provided at this venue. Vehicles should not be left overnight in the car parks. Please be advised that the parking is on grass and therefore suitable footwear is advised. There is a short walk from the car park to our concert arena over a short distance with an incline.
We have a dedicated disabled carpark situated close to the arena entrance for all our Disabled Blue Badge holders. Please see our accessibility section if you need assistance. All cars parked at owner’s risk.
The venue is easily accessible from Cromer town centre. Buses and trains regularly serve the town. The Greater Anglia train service is on a direct route from Norwich, via North Walsham and onto Sheringham. Please visit their website to find out timetable and route information – www.greateranglia.co.uk
TAXI & DROP OFF
Taxi drop off/pick up will be located in the car park of Amazona Zoo. You can then use the walkers entrance to access the park on the opposite side of the road – just follow the signs. Please be aware that the entrance to the park is rural, so please wear suitable shoes.
If you are arriving by taxi or being dropped off, make sure you have made arrangements for your return journey in advance as there are a limited number of taxi companies operating in rural areas. In addition, our venues do not have public telephones and sites may have poor mobile reception. Arrange to meet your taxi at the designated taxi drop off/pick up point, which is the Amazona Zoo car park. Please be aware that if you’re using a satellite navigation system, the following address should be used: Amazona Zoo, Hall Rd, Cromer NR27 9JG.
Walkers should enter via the pedestrian gate on Hall Road, close to Amazona Zoo. Just follow the signs on Hall Road. There is no access for vehicles from this entrance.
If you are walking to the venue along the public footpaths, please be aware that it will be dark when you leave.
Please note there is a short walk from the concert venue over a field to the walkers gate. We will have basic lighting, but the entire route will only be ‘dimly lit’. For your safety, you may like to consider bringing a torch and hi-vis vest for your journey home.
To ensure walkers and cars are separated, pedestrians should not use the Holt Road lay-by entrance.
Camping is available just across the road at Cromer Camping, situated just 200m from our pedestrian entrance and a ten minute walk into town. It’s the perfect place to stay and enjoy the beautiful North Norfolk Coast.
